More than a school. Fuqua is a community.
At Fuqua, student life isn’t a side note to the academic experience — it’s woven into every day, every tradition, and every opportunity to discover who you are and what you’re capable of.
Student life at Fuqua School gives our community energy, meaning, and a feeling that sets us apart. Guided by our mission of boundless individual potential, and rooted in honesty, responsibility, kindness, and respect, the Fuqua experience is intentionally designed to help students flourish — academically, socially, and emotionally. Students are trusted, challenged, and celebrated for who they are both inside and outside the classroom.
Falcon pride runs deep.
Fuqua School fields 13 competitive sports teams across three seasons, giving students the opportunity to pursue athletic excellence while building teamwork, discipline, and lifelong friendships. At a school this size, every student who wants to compete can compete — and every fan in the stands knows the players by name.

Create. Perform. Innovate.
From our youngest artists exploring oil pastels and clay in Lower School, to Concert Band students performing at community events across the region, to Theatre students producing full stage productions — creative expression is a core part of every student’s Fuqua experience. STEAM integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics from PK–12, building the 21st-century skills students carry into every future they choose.

Find your people. Lead something amazing.
With a dedicated club period built into every school day, Fuqua students have real time — not leftover time — to pursue their interests, lead organizations, and connect with peers across grade levels. From public speaking and environmental advocacy to community service and civic engagement, there’s a place for every student to belong and contribute.

Keep the momentum going.
The Fuqua experience doesn’t end when the school year does. Our summer programs are designed to support and stretch students through the summer months — from enrichment and reading programs that build foundational skills to summer camps that bring the spirit of Fuqua alive during the break. Whatever your student’s interests, there’s a summer program built for them.

Care that fits your family's schedule.
We understand that family schedules don’t always align with the school day. Fuqua’s Extended Day Program provides Lower School students with a safe, supervised, and enriching environment before and after school — staffed by familiar Fuqua faces in a setting that feels like an extension of the school day, not a waiting room.

The whole student, every day.
Physical and emotional wellbeing are priorities at Fuqua — not afterthoughts. Every Lower School student receives at least 30 minutes of daily physical activity. Advisory programs at every grade level create space for students to connect, reflect, and grow. And our school counseling team is always available to support students through whatever they’re navigating, academically or personally.
No student navigates alone.
From school counseling support in the Lower School to dedicated career and college guidance beginning in freshman year, Fuqua students are never left to figure it out alone. Our counseling team works with each student individually — helping them navigate academic challenges, personal growth, and the path that comes after graduation, wherever that path leads.

Some of the most meaningful parts of a Fuqua education can’t be found in a course catalog. They’re in the morning handshake at the door, the backpacks lining the sidewalk, the bonfire before the homecoming game, and the memories made on a New York City stage. These are the moments Fuqua families carry with them long after graduation.
